Gancia cheers to success with Vistex and SAP Fiori

In 1850, in Canelli (Asti), Carlo Gancia founded the homonimous company. In 1865 Gancia created a new type of Champagne, which he called Spumante Italiano Metodo Classico, exporting worldwide. The company acquired a worldwide fame and as result Gancia needed a new Sales system solution more performing. Nowadays Gancia is a global brand in more than 65 markets.

Implementation

Derga has implemented in Gancia two responsive solutions: DMp Vistex, an add-on completly integrated in SAP for commercial policies, and SAP Fiori ,a set of sales applications for sales force (discounts, promotions, Canvass). Thanks to these tools, the encoding products is only on SAP ERP with a real time update of data field and with the same rules of filling in for all systems. There are no update delays in data collection system.

All customer’s orders enter immediatly in SD (Sales & Distribution) SAP system, with online check of the credit, with STD logic of SAP autorization and with ATP SAP application. It could be possible to simulate commercial campaigns before sell-in dates go-live in just 3 months.
